Golf clinics

A golf clinic at a location near you

A golf clinic anywhere in the Netherlands, with professional coaching and equipment provided. No experience needed, no course permit required. For companies, friends and families.

Golfclinic op de driving range

Golf is one of the few activities where everyone starts from the same line. Someone who has never held a club hits their first ball within ten minutes, and that moment is exactly why a clinic works so well for groups. No experience, no equipment, no course permit needed.

Zalm Golf runs clinics throughout the Netherlands, so you are not tied to a single course: we find the location that suits your group best.

What is a golf clinic?

A guided introduction to golf, usually around two hours, led by a golf professional. In small groups you work through the three basics:

  • PuttingOn the green — immediately fun, because everyone scores.
  • ChippingThe short shot around the green.
  • The full swingOn the driving range, where most of the laughter comes from.

We often finish with a friendly contest, such as nearest to the pin. Clubs and balls are provided.

For which occasion?

Corporate events and team building

Golf works for teams because it depends on neither fitness nor experience. The colleague who never plays sport may turn out to be the best putter in the department. There is time to talk, the pace is relaxed, and everyone joins in.

Suitable for staff days, client days and networking events. For larger groups we split into smaller rotations so everyone gets personal attention.

Celebrations, family days and groups of friends

A clinic is an alternative to the same old outing and works for mixed company: young and old, sporty and less so.

Small groups welcome too: where many courses only start from six or eight people, we are happy to think along for smaller parties.

Trying golf as a step towards your course permit

If you are considering taking up golf properly, a clinic is the cheapest way to find out whether it suits you. If it does, the Handicap 54 course is the logical next step and lets you play a course independently.

Do I need to bring clubs?
No, equipment is provided. You are welcome to bring your own.
Can the clinic be held in English?
Mention it in your request and we will look into the options.
