Best Golf

Best Golf sits on the edge of Best, just minutes from Eindhoven, in a mature parkland setting with plenty of trees and water. The 18-hole championship course (par 72) holds NGF A-status and is complemented by a 9-hole par 3 course. Highlights are the partly covered, floodlit driving range with 32 bays and brasserie Dimples in the clubhouse.

Houten, Utrecht

De Utrechtse

De Utrechtse is located near Houten, just south of Utrecht along the A27 motorway, with views of Heemstede Castle. The club has a challenging 9-hole championship course (par 35) with plenty of water, bunkers and waste areas, plus a qualifying 9-hole par 3 course. Practice facilities are extensive, with a driving range with target greens and an indoor golf simulator, and brasserie The Green takes care of food and drinks.

Amsterdam, Noord-Holland

Golf Waterland

Golf Waterland is located on the Buikslotermeerdijk in Amsterdam-Noord, about fifteen minutes from the city centre. The authentic polder and parkland course has 18 holes (par 71) with plenty of water hazards and has held NGF A-status since 2014, complemented by a qualifying 9-hole par 3 course. Visitors will find a driving range, a golf shop and restaurant Land Water, and parking at the course is free.

Lieren, Gelderland

Golf- en Businessclub De Scherpenbergh

Golf- en Businessclub De Scherpenbergh lies in the rolling, wooded Veluwe countryside near Lieren, just south of Apeldoorn. The club offers 27 holes: an 18 hole championship course over the Zwaluwenbaan and Dassenbaan loops, complemented by the 9 hole Berkenbaan for a shorter round. Thanks to the sandy soil the course plays well nearly all year round. Visitors can use the public driving range and the well regarded restaurant.

Benthuizen, Zuid-Holland

Golfbaan Bentwoud

Golfbaan Bentwoud lies between Zoetermeer and Alphen aan den Rijn, in the largest contiguous forest area of the Randstad. Its 36 holes are spread over four loops of 9 holes: the A, B and C loops together form the 27 hole championship course, complemented by a qualifying par 3/4 course. The standout facility is the largest TrackMan driving range in the Netherlands, partly covered and floodlit. After the round an inviting restaurant with a large terrace awaits.

Winterswijk, Gelderland

Golfbaan De Voortwisch

Golfbaan De Voortwisch is set in the hedgerow landscape of the Winterswijk National Landscape, in the hamlet of Henxel. The forest and parkland course designed by Donald Steel was extended to 18 holes in 2014 and is complemented by a short 6 hole par 3 course. Players will find a covered driving range, a golf shop and restaurant De Voortwisch.

Wijdewormer, Noord-Holland

Golfbaan de Zaanse

Golfbaan de Zaanse lies in the Wijdewormer polder, about fifteen minutes north of Amsterdam. The modern 18-hole course (par 71) by architect Gerard Jol runs through peat meadow land with many water hazards, making accuracy more important than distance, and the wind often plays a role. The driving range has 27 bays, all fitted with Trackman, and the reception houses a golf shop where you can also rent a buggy.

Schipluiden, Zuid-Holland

Golfbaan Delfland

Golfbaan Delfland lies in the green Midden-Delfland area near Schipluiden, a short drive from Delft, The Hague and Rotterdam, and is the largest pay and play golf course in the Netherlands. Play takes place on the 27 hole Championship Course with a red, yellow and blue loop and on the floodlit 9 hole par 3 Challenge Course. Facilities include a covered, floodlit driving range with 56 bays, a golf shop and a brasserie with terrace.

Biddinghuizen, Flevoland

Golfbaan Dorhout Mees

Golfbaan Dorhout Mees lies on the Veluwemeer lake near Biddinghuizen, in the region between Harderwijk, Zeewolde and Elburg. Opened in 2021 and designed by architects Michiel van der Vaart and Andrew Cude, the course has 9 holes with 18 different tees, giving you a varied 18-hole round (par 72). It has the rugged character of a links course with rolling fairways, waste areas and fast greens, and the grounds also feature a sports bar with brasserie and even a golf hotel.

Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Zuid-Holland

Golfbaan Hitland

Golfbaan Hitland is a public golf course in the Park Hitland recreation area near Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, in the polder landscape between Gouda and Rotterdam. The facility comprises an 18 hole course with NGF A status designed by Gerard Jol and a qualifying 9 hole par 3 course, both featuring attractive water hazards. The practice greens are freely accessible and the floodlit driving range has 40 bays, 20 of them covered. Restaurant HIT eten en drinken serves as the convivial nineteenth hole.

Afferden, Limburg

Golfbaan Landgoed Bleijenbeek

Golfbaan Landgoed Bleijenbeek is located near Afferden in northern Limburg, in the middle of De Maasduinen National Park and around the ruins of Bleijenbeek Castle. The 18-hole championship course, par 73, was designed by Gerard Jol and features water hazards and considerable elevation changes; there are also a 9-hole par 3/4 course and a 9-hole pitch and putt course. Facilities include a covered driving range and a restaurant overlooking the course.

Velsen-Zuid, Noord-Holland

Golfbaan Spaarnwoude

Golfbaan Spaarnwoude lies in the Spaarnwoude recreation area near Velsen-Zuid, between Amsterdam and Haarlem, and with 54 holes in total ranks among the largest golf complexes in Europe. The E, D and C championship loops together form the 27 hole Championship Course, while the shorter A and B loops each offer 9 holes of par 3 and par 4. The driving range has over 90 bays, is partly covered and is equipped with the interactive Inrange system. There are also a large on-course golf shop and a restaurant.

Westwoud, Noord-Holland

Golfbaan Westwoud

Golfbaan Westwoud lies between Hoorn and Enkhuizen in the water-rich West Frisian polder landscape. The 18-hole course, par 71, consists of two contrasting loops: nine holes from 1985 set among trees and rolling terrain, and nine open holes from 2005 with plenty of water. Next to the course you will find a driving range with TrackMan, a golf shop and Brasserie Westwoud.

Amsterdam, Noord-Holland

Golfcentrum De Hoge Dijk

Golfcentrum De Hoge Dijk is located in Amsterdam Zuidoost, right next to Abcoude. The centre has 27 holes: an 18-hole championship course with A-status, par 71, made up of the Holendrecht and Bullewijk loops, plus the 9-hole Abcoudebaan with par 31. The driving range has more than 40 mats with Trackman, and there is a brasserie with a terrace overlooking the course.

Kerkdriel, Gelderland

Golfclub De Dorpswaard

Golfclub De Dorpswaard lies in the floodplains of the river Maas near Kerkdriel, between 's-Hertogenbosch and Zaltbommel. The 9-hole course has 18 different tees, allowing a full 18-hole round (par 72), with water hazards and elevated greens as a recurring challenge. A special feature is the driving range where you hit towards the Maas, and brasserie 't Waardje overlooks holes 1 and 9 from its terrace.

Teteringen, Noord-Brabant

Golfpark de Haenen

Golfpark de Haenen is located in Teteringen, right next to Breda. The 18-hole course, par 70, runs through four types of landscape: wetlands, parkland with ponds, historic woodland and heathland with dunes. Alongside the course there are a driving range, a separate par 3 course and a brasserie with a terrace.

Rijsbergen, Noord-Brabant

Golfpark De Turfvaert

Golfpark De Turfvaert in Rijsbergen, south of Breda, is an 18-hole inland links course, par 70, designed by Frank Pont. The course is characterised by rolling fairways, tough rough and British-style greens. There are extensive practice facilities with a partly covered driving range of about 225 metres, and a brasserie in a former farmhouse from 1956.

Gilze, Noord-Brabant

Golfpark Weilenseind

Golfpark Weilenseind is located in the hamlet of Weilenseind near Gilze, between Breda and Tilburg. The 9-hole course, par 30, was designed by Alan Rijks in 2001 and combines par 3 and par 4 holes with water features, bunkers and undulating greens. Visitors can use the extensive practice facilities with a driving range, and the restaurant with terrace.

Elst, Gelderland

Landgoed Welderen

Golfbaan Landgoed Welderen is located in Elst, in the heart of the Betuwe between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Alongside the 18 hole championship course (par 72) designed by architect J. Eschauzier, there are a 9 hole par 3/4 course and a 6 hole pitch and putt course. Water hazards and the nearby river Linge give the course a tactical character. Golfers can also use the covered, floodlit driving range and the restaurant with its terrace.

Tilburg, Noord-Brabant

Prise d'Eau Golf

Prise d'Eau Golf lies in the wooded area between Tilburg and Gilze-Rijen. The 27 championship holes are divided over three 9 hole loops: De Blaak, De Sijsten and De Leij, each par 36. There is also a 9 hole par 3 course. The extensive practice facilities include a covered driving range with Toptracer, and restaurant De Gasterij takes care of food and drinks.

Rhoon, Zuid-Holland

Rhoon Golfcenter

Rhoon Golfcenter is located in Rhoon, about fifteen minutes from the centre of Rotterdam. The parkland course has 18 holes with a par of 71 and is complemented by a 6 hole par 3 course. Water hazards, generous fairways and abundant greenery define its character. The partly covered driving range with 50 bays and the brasserie complete the offering.

Utrecht, Utrecht

RUFF Utrecht - The Wall

RUFF Utrecht - The Wall is an indoor golf venue in the striking The Wall building in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn. On six Trackman simulators visitors play world famous courses or work on their technique, all year round and whatever the weather. A 9 hole minigolf course also runs through the building. The modern clubhouse bistro with bar completes the concept.
